Defying gravity, the odds and the naysayers, qualifying for the Olympic games.
The series we created, "Ten Meters to London", began as a self assigned project. Originally, to test how my new camera would handle rapid focus in difficult situations. Exposing divers streaking through the sky can be a challenge as well, and evaluating how the camera would handle the capture in very contrasty and difficult lighting was important. Divers came from all around the globe to try their hand at qualifying for the London Olympics and the camera performed beautifully capturing these athletes effortlessly flying through the air while capturing the very water drops falling from their skin. We published a book and created a "moving stills" video animating the water drops and free fall movements of the divers.
