An Afternoon Experimenting with Motion in Paris

I was recently afforded the wonderful opportunity to travel and shoot in Paris for Equestrian Quarterly Magazine. We were there at Hermes' invitation, to cover the launch of their much anticipated new saddle and their even Le Saute at the Grand Palais, where the best horse jumpers in the world come to compete. While there, I had an afternoon of personal time and I grabbed my camera and created some personal images taken around Paris.

Ive always loved motion and decided that this time, I would shoot everything with a very slow shutter speed and let the emotion of the images become more important than the technical side of sharpness. In my professional life, many of these images would be approached from the sharpness and stop action angle, also fun, but not as emotional. Here are a few of the images from my personal journey.
