Photographer George Kamper's latest work inspires nostalgia of the Old West. Equestrian Quarterly asked George to shoot the supplementary images to an article on singer Lyle Lovett titled "Lyle Lovett, the Renaissance Cowboy of Texas."

Communication Arts announced its winners of its 54th Annual Photography Competition with George Kamper being one of them! With over 5,111 entries only 130 of them won this prestigious award. Award winning photographers from all around the world submitted their work in several different categories.
I was recently afforded the wonderful opportunity to travel and shoot in Paris for Equestrian Quarterly Magazine. We were there at Hermes' invitation, to cover the launch of their much anticipated new saddle and their even Le Saute at the Grand Palais, where the best horse jumpers in the world come to compete.
It's taken me a while to write this blog about my experiences with Hermes in Paris, visiting the Hermes Saddlery and covering Le Saute Hermes at the Grand Palais.

George went back to Newport Beach California this year to shoot an ad campaign for a second time in September. This year the ad agency MMMGY Global choose to go black and white with blue accentuating the water contrasting last years blue-green colorful feel. Check out the behind the scenes and finals below
George Kamper directed and produced a :30 spot for the Queen Mary's Dark Harbor 18 Nights of Terror. Working closely with Executive CD, Rob DeLuke and Copywriter Mark Sunderland, both of the Y Group.
Our assignment was to capture 10 hero images for use in advertising and other print and out of home media, plus 5 light effects shots for use as backgrounds. While additionally shooting as much potential stock for future promotions etc..
